In reference 27/4372.01, the Junghans FORM A Chronoscope English Date wears a black PVD-coated polished stainless steel case, 42 mm wide. The black dial carries curry-colored hour indices, luminous hands, two counters for 30 minutes and 12 hours, and a date and English weekday display.

The movement is the self-winding J880.1, made in Germany, which holds up to 56 hours of power reserve. A sapphire crystal sits above the dial, a printed-motif case back is retained by four screws, and water resistance is 5 bar (50 m). At 13.5 mm thick, it has a confident presence. A leather strap with a black PVD-coated stainless steel buckle finishes it, giving a unified dark look for daily wear.
