Black DLC coating covers the polished steel case and bezel of the Ernst Benz Chronolunar Officer DLC GC10383-DLC, a 47 mm piece. Against the black dial, white-gold luminous applied numerals pick up a touch of warmth.
The dial shows hours, minutes, subsidiary seconds, day, date, month, a 24-hour display and moon phases, with a chronograph for hours, minutes and central seconds. A Swiss Valjoux 7751 automatic with Incabloc, Glucydur balance and Nivarox hairspring drives it, visible through the sapphire exhibition back. Water resistance is 50 meters, and the handmade alligator strap, 22 mm, uses a steel pin buckle.
