The bezel is the focus of the Ernst Benz ChronoJewel Contemporary GC10121D, set with 48 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 3.5 carats around a 47 mm polished steel case. The black dial has steel applied markers and propeller hands, each with white luminous fill, plus subsidiary seconds, day and date.
The chronograph measures hours, minutes and central seconds on a self-winding Swiss Valjoux 7750 with Incabloc, a Glucydur balance and a Nivarox hairspring. A sapphire exhibition back shows the movement, and the 9 mm knurled crown is double O-ring sealed for 50 meters of water resistance. The strap is handmade alligator, 22 mm, with a steel pin buckle.
