Sandblasted stainless steel gives the Laco Pilot Watches BASIC Aachen Blaue Stunde, reference 862101.2, a soft, matte case at 42 mm, and the blue dial has a sunray pattern. Arabic numerals and indexes with matte black hands are filled with Super-LumiNova C3.

Laco's 2S automatic movement, based on the Miyota 82S0, has a hacking second and is visible through the sapphire crystal case back. Sapphire also covers the dial, and the case is 11.75 mm thick with 5 bar (50 m) of water resistance. The one-piece nylon strap has a 20 mm lug width. A practical, legible pilot-style watch for a wearer who prefers a subdued case finish and a lightweight strap for daily use.
